POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage the Sourcing team member for sourcing buys for the East Lime and Minerals Divisions.Manage procurement activities across multiple sites, according to procurement and safety policies and standards.Set buys" Manage and execute high value spend across multiple sites, clarifying needs from requisitioners, RFQs / RFPs, suppliers. selection, negotiations and contract management (suppliers management).Implement processes and tools in compliance with Group templates.Develop the Purchase Orders Terms and Conditions for High value spot buys".Support the execution of Sourcing / Category strategies across multiple sites.Assist with identifying and implementing initiatives to improve customer satisfactionCollect / Analyze procurement KPI's including P2P indicators and implement remediation.Identify and/or execute procurement process improvement initiatives.Oversee the creation of new vendors and monitor supplier performanceSupport Catalog procurement management systems and compliance.Conduct procurement training as needed.Manage supplier/ customer relations regarding contract management.Maintenance of the internal supplier databaseRESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Establish close working relationships with Division internal stakeholders and leadership in order to understand business needs, deliver adequate sourcing performance and drive Operational Procurement value contribution to the Business while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies, and processes. Establish a position as a value Business Partner.Manage and develop the Sourcing team at the division level, in line with Divisional and Lhoist Procurement strategy.Ensure effective strategy and management of all spending and supplies within Division(s) of responsibility. Define and implement the sourcing strategy for all local/division spending and coordinate the strategy and implementation for global or regional categories to achieve recurrent TCO improvement and ongoing value creation, while managing supply continuity, quality, and service level for the geography.Establish close working relationships with Division internal stakeholders and leadership in order to understand business needs, deliver sourcing performance and drive Operational Procurement value contribution to the Business while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies, and processes.Support and collaborate with LNA Category Managers, LNA Category Council for corresponding categories and initiatives.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Division, aligned with global processes and global improvement initiatives.Manage a portfolio of sourcing initiatives and develop relationships with suppliers ensuring effective Supplier Performance Management, Sustainable Procurement, and ongoing risk management in the geography.Develop a knowledge base of external market trends and developments, regularly communicate to Stakeholders to adapt strategies, and seek business opportunitiesDrive and optimize Key Performance Indicators for Procurement activities (Sourcing and Operations) at the Division level, aligned with global processesLeads the Division Procurement team - Sourcing & Operations, meeting quality and performance targetsManages workload of direct reports to minimize backlog and secure smooth operations.Establishes the knowledge and skill requirements for people working in the Division Procurement team and agrees on plans for their development.Sets team performance priorities in alignment with Division & Regional Procurement priorities and follow-upManages internal customer relationships and satisfaction on the regional division level related to Procurement activities.Provides KPIs, results updates, progress updatesAligns on priorities and directionsLiaises with Division management teams as appropriate to ensure the alignment of the team with the business prioritiesRepresents Division Procurement in different governance bodiesMonitors quality of the sourcing activities and takes actions where neededReports on the performance of the Sourcing activitiesMonitors and follows up on Operational Procurement KPIs & SLAsDrives continuous improvement in Procurement operationsManages internal customer relationships and satisfaction on the division level related to Procurement activities.Provides KPIs, results updates, progress updatesAligns on priorities and directions
Liaises with Division management teams as appropriate to ensure the alignment of the team with the business prioritiesRepresents Division Procurement in different governance bodies
Ensures discipline/compliance with the agreed strategies, plans, and processesEstablishes partnership with local/sub-regional stakeholders and drives alignment with local management on the sourcing strategy and implementation of a multi-year plan optimizing TCO year-over-year.Manages high-value / complex spot buys for the geography, supported by the Category managers for the relevant categories when applicable.Executes Sourcing initiatives for local category purchases.Supports the Procure to Pay process through the alignment of buying channelsManages / Evaluates contract compliance, data management, and supplier performance and takes necessary corrective actions for spending under his responsibilityOptimizes supplier base to build a manageable pool of preferred suppliers. Develops and manage the long-term relationship with key suppliers of a given scopePerform other duties as assignedATTRIBUTES:

Adept in an ERP environment and related reporting/data warehouse, preferably SAP/BW, to drive integrated planning solutions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Must be physically able to perform work assigned.Must be physically capable of accessing all plant/site locations.Tolerate working outside in severe weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 200 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.Will be working in an office environment, mining, and mineral processing environment.The employee may be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles.The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.Able to lift up to 50 pounds.Must be able to travel up to 50% as needed or directed by leadership.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management field or demonstrated skills and ability and/or equivalent work experience in the field.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least six to ten (6-10) years of previous purchasing, procurement or supply chain leadership experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:
Eight (8) plus years of proven leadership in procurement, purchasing, supply chain/ or mining or manufacturing environments.
