We strive to not only be the partner of choice for our residents, their families and community players but also for our employees.Elderwood has an opportunity for a Regional Human Resources Operations Manager who embodies these core values.This position requires HR experience in Long Term Care and the ability to travel.Regional Human Resources Operations Manager - Position Overview:Collaborates with the Director of Human Resources Operations to support, maintain, and implement human resources initiatives for the enterprise.Provides oversight, support and guidance to all field HR personnel in all HR functional areas including payroll, compliance, training, benefits, recruitment and employee relations.Conducts frequent site visits and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:Regional Human Resources Operations ManagerGeneral HR:Responds or involves appropriate HR team members to respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs from facilities HR/Management Staff.Manages Exit Interview, New Hire Survey, Employee Engagement Survey, and all other surveys requested by the enterprise. Distribute surveys to eligible participants, analyzes and processes data, research best practices and promotion of surveys.Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to promote continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.Maintains enterprise organizational charts.In coordination with VP, HR, and legal, maintains and updates all entity staff handbooks.In partnership with Director, HR Operations, provides ongoing training, support and mentoring to all new site-based HR staff including implementation and updates to the HR training manual.Works with internal and external counsel as needed for employment and other HR issues.Provides hiring recommendations consistent with new hire adjudication standards and procedures for all states where we do business.Supports the integration and onboarding of staff through the acquisition of new entities.Participates in local/national associations; attends professional conferences targeted to further develop specialized compensation expertise.In coordination with EAS HR team, covers site staff HR functions in short term HRC/HRM absences or vacancies.Participates in and/or leads special projects as necessary within HR Department.Coordinates work with various existing and newly established vendors; manages relationship and service; makes recommendations where appropriate; and acts as liaison between field HR personnel and vendors.Participates in developing employee recognition programs.Partners with Dir. Of HR Ops to ensure practices are implemented and followed.In partnership with Dir. Of HR Ops, addresses inquiries from HR personnel in timely fashion.Manages policy updates within the companys policy tech system.Manages background check adjudications for the enterprise.Assists with the creation and modification of job descriptions for the enterprise.Unemployment & Workers CompensationEnsures timely response to claims for unemployment insurance by all field HR personnel in conjunction with the Dir. Of HR Ops.Represents the company in UI and WC hearings when necessary.Staff Onboarding/ TrainingOrients and completes new hire paperwork for all new HR, Directors, and Executive staff members and ensures that employment regulatory requirements are met; to include but not limited to, reviewing benefit program eligibility, describing benefit plans, and confirmation of enrollment completion.Schedules new hires for General Orientation as necessary.Ensures all HR, Director, and Executive staff have all appropriate access to applicable systems.In coordination with Dir. Of HR Ops., conducts on-site and off-site training and coaching to HR personnel for current and new policies, procedures, best practices.ComplianceConducts audits of HR practices, ex. FLSA classification, as needed to ensure compliance with state and federal standards.Conducts site-based audits/ site visits to ensure company HR practices are being completed properly.Completes reports and communicates closing conference results accordingly.Assists with evaluating data and findings to form the basis of training, development, and performance evaluation for site HR staff.Provides guidance and coaching on DOH regulations and compliance for employees.Performs continuous HRIS ADP compliance and I-9 tracker monitoring for all enterprises.

Qualifications:Regional Human Resources Operations ManagerMinimum of Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related fieldMinimum of six (6) years of relevant HR experience in long term care.Valid, current driver license for frequent travelPHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferredKnowledge of state labor laws and guidelinesExperience with various HR related platforms and applications preferred (ADP, Kronos, bswift, ATS)Demonstrated abilities in training and development in both 1:1 and large group settings
