Analyst

Analyst (Atlas Securitized Products Partners, L.P. - New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Work with the Banking, Sales and Trading businesses. Work with all stages of a new issue security transaction including pitching, structuring, negotiation, execution and closing. Support a diverse range of asset types such as credit cards, aircraft, triple-net lease, insurance products, residential and commercial real estate mortgages, intellectual property and small business loans. Collaborate with buy-side accounts on new issue securities and general portfolio management of their accounts. Understand and manage risk across the different trading desks in Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), and Asset Backed Securities (ABS). Support traders across multiple trading desks.Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration (with a Finance or Economics Concentration/Major) or a related quantitative field. Education, training, or experience must include: Building financial models to assist in making investment decisions; Conducting due diligence and analysis of potential funds and presenting recommendations to senior analysts; Developing and delivering investment recommendation pitches; Performing financial and risk analysis; Supporting security transactions for client accounts as needed; Working in finance, economics and quantitative analysis; and Investment management and quantitative research analysis.
