Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electro-pneumatic products or subassemblies where methods and sequence of assembly are described by detailed written procedures. Performs these operations with consistently high quality and quantity. Strives to achieve 100% on time shipments to customers
Assembles and tests a wide variety of valve assemblies
Disassembles and repairs customer returns.
Works with the technician or engineer to write process procedures.
Ensure all safety measures are followed and maintained to include ergonomics. (6S)
Monitor free stock levels to insure that we have a constant supply of materials.
Troubleshoot and rework assemblies.
Good working knowledge of MSSV
Consistently achieves absenteeism/tardiness performance standards
Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Participate in mandatory stretch breaks.
Shows strong initiative and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
May train new employees or those cross training
Has no distinguishing record of a written warning or higher.
Assist Supervisor as needed
All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Must be able to alternate between sitting or standing workstations for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and reach.
Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
Some heavy lifting may be required as necessary
May work at different workstations as production needs require or shifts from one station to another during the assembly process
Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
The noise level of the work environment is usually loud.
Use of Safety Glasses is required
Use of gloves in some production areas as required.
Ear protection is available as necessary.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have proficiently performed duties of Production Associates I and II.
