Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.Experience with Active Directory or Azure AD.Experience managing an identity management system.Experience with single sign-on (SSO) and/or multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions such as Duo or Microsoft Authenticator.Experience with RBAC (Role Based Access Control) and other access control models.Experience with scripting or automation platforms, such as Python, PowerShell, etc.Experience managing an identity lifecycle.Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.Preferred Qualifications

Experience with commercial IAM platforms and technologies, such as Okta, SailPoint, Fischer Identity, etc.Experience with information security best practices in securing workloads.Experience with Shibboleth (SAML) authentication platform.Relevant IAM certification.Experience with multiple disciplines within Information Technology such as Information Technology, Systems Administration, Project Management, etc.Job Description

Texas State University (TXST) is seeking an experienced professional to join Central Systems Operations as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst and help secure our organization's systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring, maintaining, and administering IAM systems for a large and complex organization.

Job Duties

Manage and maintain IAM platform for Texas State University.Configure interfaces between systems enabling SSO, federation, and other identity related functions.Develop IAM workflows based on organizational objectives.Create and maintain documentation for IAM and related systems.Establishes identity and access management standards, procedures, policies and guidelines in alignment with information assurance objectives and guidance from the Chief Information Security Officer.Write, troubleshoot, and maintain scripts for managing identity data, identity provisioning and deprovisioning, and importing and exporting identity data between systems.Defines user roles and implements identity and access management tools within organizational systems and applications.Monitors permissions and grants/denies user access requests following the principle of least privilege.Maintains consistency and compliance across the organization regarding the IAM framework.Produce reports, dashboards, statistics, and metrics for identity management system and related systems.Plans and implements changes and updates to identity and access management systems.Troubleshooting and problem resolution for identity and authentication issues.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall design and development process.Perform other duties as assigned.Additional Information to Applicants
