Job Title:
Executive Director, Global Payroll
Location:
Atlanta, GA (hybrid schedule: 4 days/week onsite)
Position Summary
The Executive Director, Global Payroll will oversee and manage the payroll operations for NCR Atleos’ global workforce. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in payroll management, compliance, transformation, and process improvement. The Director of Global Payroll will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries, while maintaining compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Payroll Management: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all global locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal payroll regulations, as well as company policies.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Transformation Efforts: Lead continuous transformation initiatives to modernize and optimize payroll systems and processes.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external payroll vendors and service providers.
Reporting: Prepare and present payroll reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
Audits: Coordinate and manage payroll audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and address any issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of twelve to fifteen (12-15) years of hands-on global experience in Payroll, Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Process Management, Program Management or Shared Services. A minimum of eight (8) years managing a global payroll function, including managing a geographically diverse team. Experience leading global teams and working in a global ecosystem.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software.
Excellent understanding of global payroll regulations and compliance.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
Experience with Workday, ADP payroll solutions
