Job Description -

HW&Co. is currently seeking a Manager for our Audit and Advisory department in our Columbus, OH office. Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations within their area of specialization, and report to Senior Managers and Principals. They ensure financial compliance through the review of client reports and statements within the A&A department.

Job Responsibilities -

Perform the following audit procedures:

Review less experienced staff's work for accuracy and compliancePresent audit solutions and find ways to increase their efficiencyPerform effective control and risk assessmentsManage scheduling and support performance for audit teamsManage direct and personal working relationships with clientsComplete and submit engagement developments and updates to more experienced staffPerform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications -

5-10 years of public accounting experienceBachelor's degree in accountingCPA licenseDetail-oriented with a passion for accuracyExperience with healthcare, HUD, and/or non-profit auditsExpert in accounting software (CaseWare, FAS, and/or IDEA is preferred)Great verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and time managementThe ability to handle confidential and sensitive informationThe ability to interact with clients and employees of all levels of the FirmBenefits

Office locations in Woodmere, Willoughby, Westerville, Middleburg Heights, and MansfieldOvertime hours required for client-serving roles (especially during the months of January through April)
