Halff has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer, with their Texas PE License, to join our Public Works group based out of our Richardson, TX office. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of experience in municipal roadway and drainage design on Public and/or Private Infrastructure projects. Civil Engineer (PE) - Public Works Job Functions/Responsibilities:Works under a Professional Engineer Team Leader in the development of municipal roadway and drainage design projectsWorks closely with other design staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas municipalitiesWorks on multiple Public Works projects and tasks in support of business needsAssists in managing the workload of design staff including other Engineers, EIT's, and technical staffWorks with the Public Works Team Leader and Operations Manager in business development activitiesAssists in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedulesReviews transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistencyCivil Engineer (PE) - Public Works Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degreeProfessional Engineer (PE) License in the State of TexasAt least 5 years of experience in municipal roadway and drainage designMicroStation or Civil 3D CAD experienceStrong communication skills, both written and verbalThe candidate should have a positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player and a person of high character with a focus on quality, integrity and success.Company Overview:Halff is a mid-sized, employee-owned, diverse and full-service infrastructure consulting firm planned, designed, engineered, constructed - and purposed - for people.
