Halff has an immediate opening in our Fort Worth, TX office for a Professional Civil Engineer with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in public works, municipal roadway, drainage, detention, water/wastewater utility design, and/or utilities design. The position will be for a Professional Civil Engineer interested in managing design and construction for a wide range of public and private infrastructure projects, including, yet not limited to, roadways, drainage systems, water and wastewater pipelines, civil site work and associated civil improvements in land development as well as public parks and trails facilities. Civil Engineer (P.E.) - Public Works Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of public and private infrastructure projects, including, yet not limited to, roadways, drainage systems, water and wastewater pipelines, civil site work and associated civil improvements in land development as well as public parks and trails facilities.Manage design and plan production as well as manage clients and supervise technical staff through workshare opportunities with various practices and offices at Halff.The role will have a large amount of autonomy in managing other professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and CAD designers.This position shall value and be active in professional organizations that benefit the Public Works Industry.Civil Engineer (P.E.) - Public Works Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degreeProfessional Engineer (PE) License in TexasAt least 5 to 10 years of experience in public works, municipal roadway, drainage, detention, water/wastewater utility design, and/or utilities designStrong design experience and project manager skillsExperience in MicroStation or AutoCADStrong communication skills, both written and verbalA positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success
