RIE Coatings LLC has an exciting opportunity for an
IT Manager
to join our growing company! This position will support our current locations of Eden Valley, MN; Dubuque, IA; and Albuquerque, NM as well as any future locations. This will be a hybrid role requiring you to be near one of our locations. You will also be required to travel to the other locations on a monthly basis.
What are we looking for?
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the IT department. You will be responsible for the strategic oversight of all aspects of the department from infrastructure to expansion, compliance to cybersecurity, and all things in between while understanding where we were, assessing where we are now, and thinking big for where we are headed.
You will need to have at least 5 years of experience leading an IT department, specifically in the strategic role of IT systems and infrastructure. Experience leading technical and non-technical users to adopt technological change, be well versed in all things Microsoft, and have solid project management abilities. Key Responsibilities (not an inclusive list):
Oversee and manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems.Manage projects and tickets of external IT resources (contracted services) and internal IT resources (steering committee, IT support personnel).Provide timely technical support to the production staff as issues arise to ensure minimal downtime to the operating systems on the shop floor.Oversee the annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.Lifecycle management including selecting and purchasing replacement hardware and software, when necessary.Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems to operate effectively.Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience leading IT infrastructure and services.Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interfaces, and IT security. Willing to learn all aspects of IT.Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 Pro and Windows Server 2016, Office 365, Exchange, and Azure.Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SAP Crystal ReportsExperience with, and optimization of, ERP systems, including experience with system conversions and multisystem environments, preferably JobBOSS.Demonstrated leadership skills.Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
