Your duties will include:Technical Support - provide day-to-day technical service, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe and reliable operations.Project Management - Lead small design projects for the repair and replacement of electrical equipment and instrumentation.Design Initiatives - Create comprehensive electrical and instrumentation design packages.Safety and Compliance - Participate in safety studies and drive the Management of Chance (MOC) process.Team Collaboration - Work closely with operations, maintenance, technology, reliability, and construction teams.What You'll Gain?Real-World Experiences - Apply your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Development opportunities - Learn industry standard, codes, and specifications, and master the use of CAD and other design tools.Leadership Roles - Take charge as the lead engineer on exciting projects.Professional Growth - Understand and implement INEOS 20 Principles for operational excellence.Skills & Knowledge RequiredEducation/ExperienceBachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university by December 2024 or May 2025.Minimum 3.0 GPA out of 4.0.Plant Experience through cooperative education or summer internships.Technical Skills:Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment, including motor controls, electrical systems, load flow, arc flash and other system studies.Ability to troubleshoot motor controls up to 4160 volts.Experience in sizing conduits, cables for motors, MCCs, feeders, etc.Prior work with outside vendors on coordination and electrical system studiesKnowledge of instrumentation design (temperature, pressure, flow, control valves) from field to DCS systemsExperience with Triconex PLCs is a plus.Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation loops from field to DCS systems.Proficiency in the design and programming of control and interlock systems.Skills is sizing and selecting instruments and control valves.Personal Traits:Strong basic engineering skillsInnovative mindset and ability to apply technical skills to enhance safety, quality, and production.Excellent interpersonal skills and a team playerStrong communicator, listening, and influencing abilities.Focus on delivering great customer service.Ability to manage change and multiple priorities.Proven track record of delivering results.JOIN OUR TEAM AND POWER THE FUTUREAt INEOS, we celebrate diverse perspective and ambitious goals.
