Warehouse Associate (Seasonal)
Job Description:
RUDIS, the leading Apparel company in Wrestling is looking for a Seasonal Warehouse Associate to assist at the distribution center to ensure exceptional, accurate, on-time order fulfillment and receipt of product to the consumer. This job is to be performed on-site at the distribution center, currently located in Richwood, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specificationsEnsure that all orders are correctly filled and timely dispatchedAccurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipmentsEnsure proper storage of products in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory recordsConduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisorSafely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Ensure equipment is maintained and used following safety protocols.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Assist in loading and unloading shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents, and preparing shipments for delivery.Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing proceduresWork effectively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors. Assist with training new team members as needed.Arrive on time to perform daily dutiesQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a warehouse associate or similar position preferred.Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects safely (up to 50 pounds) and maneuver heavier items with appropriate equipment or assistance.Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach during shifts.Willingness to follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Experience operating a forklift is a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Additional Information:
Must be able to work a consistent schedule. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm preferred.There will likely be opportunities for optional weekend and overtime hours.This position is a temporary, seasonal position and will conclude on December 20, 2024.
