PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is looking for a Vice President, Operations for our corporate office located in Kansas City, Missouri.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the electrical contracting industry, with proven leadership skills and a strategic mindset. As the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability.Oversee project management activities, ensuring that all projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, supervisors, and field staff.Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all operational activities.Collaborate with the executive team to set and achieve long-term business goals and objectives.Manage and optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.Prepare and present operational reports to the executive team and board of directors.Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain the company's competitive edge.What You'll Bring
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical contracting industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale electrical projects from inception to completion.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred Education and Experience
