DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Staff Physician, you will oversee the medical care and other designated care and services to residents of the Delaware Valley Veterans' Home. This includes, but is not limited to, medical diagnosis and treatment, prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures, creation of treatment plans, and conduction of medical rounds and bedside visits. Additionally, you will supervise nursing staff in medically-related activities and evaluate their work.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement: Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board. Other Requirements: PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
