Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

Under general direction of the Director, CV & Neuroscience Service Lines, the Manager of Cardiovascular Services is responsible to plan, direct and supervise all nursing, technical and operational aspects of Cath Lab/IR, Nonivasive Cardiology, Cardiac Rehab and VAT specific to services, programs, disposables, equipment and the evaluation of such programs. This position ensures an optimal work environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care; oversees the 24-hour operation of the forementioned departments with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

Required Qualifications:CA RN LicenseGraduate of Bachelor ProgramCurrent BLS and ACLS CertificationMinimum of 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experienceMinimum of 2 years in a leadership roleDemonstrated competencies specific to responsibilities within lab, including but not limited to: IABPP insertion, hemodynamic monitoringMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health SystemPreferred Qualifications:
