SUMMARY

Assemble and inspect electronic PCBs boards

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Produce quality product with manual assembly processes such as stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering (lead and lead-free), as well as some rework capabilities.Inspect to workmanship standards.Test electronic assemblies.Follow appropriate quality policies and procedures.Perform work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards.Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, supporting change and identifying ways to improve processes and efficiency.Build product as directed by Team Leader/Supervisor.Actively participate in work group/team activities, as an enthusiastic, positive and dependable team member.Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.Provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills.Other duties as assigned.The work performed in this job can only be done on site and attendance is an essential function of the job.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of one year experience in the electronics industry preferred.

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, & REASONING SKILLS

Ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of internal company documentation. Basic math skills required to add, subtract, multiply, & divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs. Able to understand and determine product quality to written documentation.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Able to perform basic data entry transactions.Successful completion of IPC Component Identification course (completed upon hire).Successful completion of IPC Workmanship standards exam (completed upon hire).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, employee may be seated or standing, based on their workstation. Employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk; Employee must frequently use hands to point, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
