SUMMARY

Ships and receives materials for Set-up and SMT Pick and Place Machines by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receive/Inspect incoming materials and match to PO and/or Job Order.Organization of material racks and accurate location of components.Organization of material, component identification, knowledge of moisture sensitive devices, using reel counters in part audit.Experience in a warehouse auditing, stocking and kitting SMT components for production builds.Work with Production Teams in developing “best method” and “highest quality” printed circuit processing methods.Sets up kit per documented specifications.Experience in a warehouse stocking and kitting SMT components for production builds.Work with Production Teams in developing “best method” and “highest quality” printed circuit processing methods.Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activitiesUse of shipping software a plusFollow appropriate quality policies and procedures.Perform work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards.Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, supporting change and identifying ways to improve processes and efficiency.Build product as directed by Team Leader/Supervisor.Actively participate in work group/team activities, as an enthusiastic, positive and dependable team member.Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.Provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills.The work performed in this job can only be done on site and attendance is an essential function of the job.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of one year experience in the electronics industry required. Experience with Shipping and/or Receiving required. Experience with shipping software highly preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of internal company documentation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills required to add, subtract, multiply, & divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Able to understand and determine product quality to written documentation.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Able to perform basic data entry transactions.Must achieve a passing score on the Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course.Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standards exam.Must Have a valid driver license, and proof of active Insurance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include: close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
