Production Scheduler

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Scheduler to join our clients team located in Coraopolis, PA area in the heavy industrial metals manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scheduling production processes efficiently and effectively, with a minimum of 5 plus years of experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production capacity.
Collaborate with production, operations, and purchasing departments to ensure a seamless flow of materials and resources.
Analyze production specifications, identify capacity constraints, and provide solutions to meet production goals.
Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to changes in customer requirements or production challenges.
Maintain accurate records of production data and provide regular updates to management.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and manage inventory levels effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, operations, or supply chain management or engineering.
Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in production planning or scheduling within the heavy industrial metals manufacturing industry.
Lean or Six Sigma training a plus!
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in scheduling software, inventory management, and production planning tools.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with various teams.
Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP systems are advantageous.
Pay Details:
$80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
