About the Company & Position - Senior Grant AccountantCFS is working with a stable nonprofit organization looking for a mission driven Senior Grant Accountant to join their teamTheir mission areas focus on ending hunger, housing services, survivor assistance programs, etc.Growing organization always looking for additional ways to help the communityRespectful, diverse and inclusive teamThis is a hybrid position located in the Financial District in NYCRole Responsibilities - Senior Grant AccountantMaintain portfolio of grantsReview financial reports and invoices prepared by the Grant AccountantEnsure timely and accurate submission to government funders and private foundationsPrepare monthly journal entries to accrue grant revenue and expensesCollaborate internally with Program, Legal, and Development staff on various grants management functionsAssist the Director of Budgets and Grants Management in the preparation of the annual budget, projections, etcAnalyze the actual revenue and expenses incurred versus the budget for the periodPreferred Qualifications - Senior Grant Accountant

BA degree in Accounting Finance or a related field3+ years of grant experienceExperience with MIP is a huge plusProficient in Microsoft Excel
