Responsibilities: • Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans • Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated • Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines • Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate Qualifications: • 2+ years in clinical or private practice dentistry experience is required • Current and unrestricted state license in good standing • Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required • Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication skills • Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures Compensation: $400,000 yearly
