SUMMARY:
Perform various general labor duties including but not limited to assembling various sheet metal products and components, utilizing various hand tools and fastening equipment. Perform related duties and complete all necessary records. Work with Integrity, Honesty and Respect; promote Teamwork and Diversity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform various general labor duties after training/cross training for specific departments/areas, which can change from time to time and dependent on business need, Assemble various metal products and components, Meet or exceed department production standards and expectations, Maintain work area according to company policies, Adhere to all safety and quality policies and procedures, Follow all administrative policies and work instructions for the area, Communicate issues and report problems immediately to lead and/or supervisor, Assist new employees on the proper assembly of products, Learn and maintain working knowledge of reading engineering drawings and basic electrical principles, including electrical current basics and safety hazards, Perform all necessary computer system inputs, updates, and reports, Utilize current software system, Help in any area, or with any task as requested, The Company reserves the right, at any time, to alter or change job responsibilities, reassign, or transfer job positions, or assign additional job responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequently required to: Stand for extended periods of time, up to eight to twelve hours per shift, Safely manipulate self through the plant by walking or other means, Repetitively use hands and fingers to reach, grasp, squeeze, and grab, Communicate by talking, listening, and reading, Repetitively stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend at the waist and/or legs, Frequently pull, push, lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds, Any pull, push, lift, carry and/or move greater than 50 pounds must use Team lift or hydraulic lift, Continuous exposure to industrial raw materials such as insulation dust, fiberglass dust, wood dust, and metal dust, Demonstrate good manual dexterity, Have adequate vision, including color and peripheral vision and depth perception to determine different color wires and objects on the Company's products, Occasionally required to: climb a ladder/stepstool, Seldom required to: crawl/squat under table/machine.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is typical of a sheet metal manufacturing factory. This is a non-climate-controlled environment. The noise level in the work environment may be quiet to loud. Exposure to constant noise, dirt, industrial raw materials (i.e., insulation, fiberglass, and wood and welding dust), sharp objects, industrial equipment, electrical equipment, forklift traffic, and other typical hazards.
