If providing hope and healing through compassionate, innovative, and individualized care interest you, we welcome your application for the position below.The Administrative Assistant in the Switchboard Department answers and transfers incoming and outgoing calls; greet visitors and guests; locate Spanish Interpreter Team members for TSH staff, when requested; and locate staff members when necessary. They will also receive and facilitate the proper response to emergency calls, such as fire, disaster, and medical emergencies; Attentive to fire panel alarms that may sound in various intervals. Required to keep records in logbooks. Dispatches for transportation and security. Have the ability to work harmoniously with clients, their families, and staff. May be required to work extended hours until adequately relieved by on-coming Switchboard employee. May be required to come in early from time to time to provide adequate Switchboard coverage. May have to work alone. Fulfill and perform other job duties as assigned. Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.Working knowledge of the operation of a telephone switchboard and radio dispatch, preferred.Must communicate well and speak clearly.Need to react quickly and calmly in an emergency situation.Keep all agency records, information and clientand#146;s names confidential.Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agencyand#146;s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
