Associate Manager, IT Operations

Associate IT Manager will be responsible for all support queries across the Data & Technology departments, working to deliver best value services for the benefit of our clients, employees and investors through the application of computer and communication technology.Key Accountabilities :Providing support and assistance to the overall Data & Technology service functions, including end user computing, basic computer system training, inventory management, installations, repairs and maintenance of desktop PCs, notebooks, and printers
Supervise and provide work direction to IT support staff, ensuring that the delivery of first class customer experience within the end user computing environment is achieved.
Working with senior management to provide forecasting and expenditures related to local budgets
Ensuring that the management and provisioning of systems is available to our end users, within the agreed IT catalogue of systems
Provide support and leadership to IT related projects, ensuring deliverables are managed in line with deployment.
Perform 1-2-1's, appraisals and involved in employees career growth
Work closely with management and technical staff to review and define standards
Contribute to the team building and collaborative environment for resources to create a high performing work team

Knowledge and Experience:7 Years + experience in systems support and operations, including LAN administration, PC and user support
Prior experience within a supervisor/lead position, managing small work teams with 1 to 4 direct reports
Experience managing/supervising individual contributors
7 Years + experience is required in Hardware (Intel based equipment) and software (PC based operating systems and applications)
7 Years + knowledge of standard IP-based networking topologies, networking hardware and exposure to network standards and network protocols.
Education:University/College degree in a relevant technical area (Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering) preferred or technical training certificate and equivalent experience.
