Has overall control and accountability for Yahoo! fixed asset and leases; ensuring timely, accurate, and complete accounting and reportingIdentifies and evaluates complex or unusual business initiatives which require in depth knowledge of fixed assets and leases as well as Yahoo strategyEstablish fixed asset and leasing controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-OxleyRepresents the Accounting department as the technical expert in this areaCoordinate audit and tax complianceLead cross-functional projectsDrive process improvement and automation to improve efficiencyDevelop and maintain strong relationships with accounting and business partnersProvides Leadership and direction to team including development, training, coaching, and performance managementDevelops strategic goals, objectives and priorities for Fixed asset assets and leasing team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in AccountingMaster's degree in Accounting or CPA preferredMinimum 10 years high volume Fixed Asset and Leasing experienceExperience leading and managing teamsExperienced in interpreting technical accounting guidanceExperience in Oracle or other large ERP systemsAbility to multitask in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
