Sr. Financial Analyst
to join the
Electrical Wiring Systems Team
in
Mascoutah, IL.
What Will You Do?
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this position has direct involvement and responsibilities in the process of budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial close.
Assist all levels of management in understanding and interpreting financial results, budgets and related financial information and processes.
Candidate will participate in all facets of the budgeting process, working with corporate staff to complete detailed budget in accordance with LNCA guidelines and time frame.
Individual will collect and analyze data for monthly financial forecast, coordinating inputs and preparing forecast for review.
Identifies trends and anomalies, examines further to identify drivers, prepares summary of findings for review by top financial staff.
Individual will work with other members of the finance team to complete month-end close in a timely fashion.
Review and analyze various business functions and help develop process improvement plans to increase efficiency and improve financial results.
Assist with sales forecasting, daily sales reporting and other analytical support as needed.
All aspects of FP&A (Budgeting, forecasting, understanding of actuals) for EWS Cablofil business (~$200M business).
Preparation and analysis of supplemental various month end schedule.
Preparation, entry, and review of monthly BPC financial reporting for Cablofil.
Analysis on financial reporting and reporting packages for monthly close.
Preparation of monthly LNCA Reporting Package for Cablofil.
Administrator of Planful reporting tool for Cablofil.
Ad hoc reports and requests / Special Projects and multidivisional assistance.
Performs other similar and related duties as required.
QualificationsRequired Skills
Education:
BA in Finance or Accounting.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities.
Requires close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.
Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions.
Exceptional computer skills, extensive knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint. Company specific accounting and finance software and systems a plus (BPC, Host Planful).
Must be able to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation and to give and receive detailed/complex and sensitive information, and process that information appropriately.
Demonstrated ability to create effective reports, presentations, and business correspondence.
Must have solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business.
