Provide support to MUSO’s Regional CCO and other MDs at Americas Compliance Department in their efforts in effecting regional governance (General and Markets Compliance areas excluding AML/CFT) over Mizuho offices located in the Americas.Responsibilities:
Maintain good relationships and close communications with local offices’ COs and other compliance-matter stakeholders; consolidate data, create and present reports and metrics on target offices from the regional governance point of view.
Grasp the main cause of compliance issues and figure out the weak points in each office in a timely manner. Conduct reviews on PDCA from each office semi-annually.
Liaise with MUSO Compliance in NY and Head Office Compliance Dept in Tokyo.
Regularly publish the General/Markets Compliance related report to RCCO without delay, explaining the KPIs and updates from the offices.
Publish reports to senior management
Qualifications:
5 + years’ of Compliance in financial services industry
Bachelor's Degree
Experience working with Global staff
Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese a plus
The expected base salary ranges from $99,000.00 -$130,00.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
