The Corporate Finance Team within RWE Clean Energy, LLC (RWECE) provides treasury operations across all Operating Businesses in the Americas, technologies, and policies. The key team activities include cash and liquidity management, bank account management, collateral management, and cross functional project management. With key treasury professionals in place, the
Sr Associate, Corporate Finance
will add value across the treasury space, identifying issues and solutions for the Americas and our parent company located in Germany (RWE-AG). The selected candidate will balance protecting RWECE against potential risks while also acting as a strategic partner to the business to support the significant growth ambitions in the Americas.
Responsibilities:
Cash & Liquidity ManagementWork closely with operating companies and functions to ensure effective and accurate cash flow forecastingAssist with the regular liquidity forecasting process and perform process improvements where neededEnsure debt payments are made within contractual deadlines and assist with new issuancesBanking Management
Continuous review of banking landscape and country solution design to streamline, drive cash optimization, and deliver value added treasury management solutions in collaboration with various key stakeholders (Structured Finance, Tax, Legal, Accounting, banking partners)Developing and maintaining relationships with bankCollateral Management
Support operational management of Bank Guarantee issuance in coordination with project management, parent company, and banksProvide analysis on Letter of Credit (LC) facilities and work with various stakeholders on implementation of new facilities (RWE-AG Treasury, Legal, banking partners)Project Management
Help to ensure compliance to relevant RWE directives and guidelinesSupport external financings with the collaboration of RWE-AG FinanceCreate visualizations and documentation of relevant Corporate Finance processesQualifications:
Bachelors or higher degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years' experience in treasury or related field at an established multi-national companyExperience with TMS (SAP preferred), banking platforms and SWIFTExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and TeamsEducational or professional background in Energy business can be helpfulStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationshipsDemonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables spaceStrong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlinesStrong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverablesAbility to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a teamMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgroundsResponds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachableIs detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
Pay range:
The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $75,200 - $112,800 . The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
