Essential Functions
Ability to commuinicate effectively with management,
fellow employees and truck drivers.
Ability to Operate a Fork lift and pass training tests
Must follow OSHA fork lift rules and fill out daily inspection form
Reading, writing and perform math skills
Responsible for keeping the warehouse and shipping/
receiving docks clean and clear of debris, and sweep when needed
Must also keep fork lift clean and in sanitary condition.
Able to work overtime
Responsible for sampling raw materials and record the temperatures
Able to load and unload Trailers and perform trailer inspections
Responsible for delivering materials to batch makers or pack lines as needed
Must be able to read production schedules and understand
run sequence and materials required for each batch or pack run
Must understand first in and first out (FIFO)usage of raw materials
and proper recording of lot numbers
Must understand allergen controls and separation according to policy
Able to perform other tasks as needed
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and power industrial truck. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
