POSITION SUMMARY
:
Performs the daily functions associated with the preparation and/or review of commercial loan documents. Funds and boards commercial loans while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and Prosperity Bank policies and procedures. Supports Dallas area lending staff (Commercial, Middle Market, Professional & Entrepreneurial, Commercial Real Estate, Energy, and Business Banking). Interacts with lenders, borrowers, underwriters and credit analysts, Community Banking staff, Underwriting, Information Technology, Compliance, Audit, and other departments as well as outside vendors such as title companies, attorneys and insurance companies.
Shifts start as early as 7:30am to as late as 6:30pm (typically 8-5pm) Monday through Friday. On occasion must be available at other times for special events, projects, and during high loan volumes or the end of month.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES :Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of Prosperity policies, procedures, guidelines, and philosophiesMust be knowledgeable of all aspects of commercial loan documentation, understanding legal entities and loan documents such as Notes, Security Instruments, Loan Agreements, etc.Prepares, reviews, and assembles new, renewed and modified loan documents for commercial and business loan products including secured and unsecured loans, commitments, lines of credit, letters of credit, interim construction, participations/syndications, etc.Utilizes LaserPro software to prepare loan documents internallyReviews attorney prepared documents prior to funding & boarding to ensure loan stipulations on the Loan Approval and Credit Memorandum are metWorks with loan officers, borrowers, title companies, and/or attorneys in closing and funding of loansReviews title policies to ensure accurate legal description, loan amount, and acceptable exceptionsDetermines proper loan system coding (product type, collateral codes, call codes, etc.) and boards loans on the core systemFunds loans accurately and ensures financial transactions balance each dayProvides top quality service to lenders and lending staff, while meeting service guarantees for documentation processingFollows all compliance policies and procedures, OCC rules and regulations, state and federal laws governing responsibility area of lendingCompletes annual compliance testing/training/certification on timePerforms other duties, tasks and special projects as required, assigned or directedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

High School Diploma, GED or EquivalentMinimum of three years current loan administration and/or related work experienceAbility to read, interpret, and respond professionally to internal and external customer correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and clearly in response to internal and external customer requests and inquiries.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rates, interest, and percentages.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and find solutions acceptable to all parties.Computer literate - knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel - Fiserv Precision & Director software a plusAbility to handle day to day tasks with minimal supervisionAbility to work in fast paced, high volume environmentExcellent Customer Service Skills
