DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses. You will be responsible for assisting with exercises, massages, and other therapeutic techniques to help patients regain their strength and mobility.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Physical Therapist in developing treatment plans for patients
Help patients perform exercises and stretches as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
Administer therapeutic techniques such as massages and electrical stimulation
Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist
Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and exercises
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment
