Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2024-2025 school year:

TRANSPORTATION

Sub Bus Driver

Hours: on call as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.Must have an excellent driving record.Valid Class B CDL driver's license with "P" and "S" endorsements and no Air Break restriction.ODE School Bus Driver Certificate required.Must pass criminal history check.Ability to pass physical, drug and alcohol tests.Ability to operate heavy duty vehicles in a safe and economical way.Excellent communication skills with the ability to get along well with students of all ages and their parents.Ability to learn routes, rules and procedures.Work hours are with an attempt to fill a forty hour week but are not guaranteed.Work varying split shifts as needed for students or school calendars, including subbing on both regular and SPED routes as assigned.Must have one years' experience driving a school bus and pass required out of district training within 30 days of hire.Bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish preferred.Upon selection, employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $66 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.

STARTING SALARY: $22.16 per hour.
