Responsible for administering high quality ionizing radiation therapy treatments to patients.Evaluates and assesses treatment delivery components while accurately positions the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated treatment volume delivering a prescribed course of radiation therapy for curative intent or to improve the quality of life.Maintains values aligning with professional code of ethicalconduct and scope of practice while adhering to national, state, institutional/department practice standards and policies/procedures.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:Associate DegreeGraduate of an accredited radiation therapy programARRT certification in Radiological TherapyTexas- Medical Radiologic Technologist - General CertificateBLSPreferred Job Requirements:One year experience as a radiation therapist, but candidates finished with accredited training registered or registry are eligible.
