MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYReceptionist Greeter for Anpétu Téca Education Center and clerical support for Community Education departmentAnswer phone calls on the building's main phone line and direct calls to appropriate programsEnforce building safety and security procedures and protocols:
Enforce visitors have a district staff ID or receive a visitor sticker or lanyardMaintain daily visitor logsMonitor building activityRespond quickly to potential crises, threats and emergenciesManage access control systems and monitors surveillance camerasAssist in building-wide communications in the event of an emergencyReport in writing any unusual situations to the supervisorComplete an incident report for any accidents, thefts, or vandalism
Establish an atmosphere of inclusivity and warmth where all feel valuedManage Anpétu Téca Education Center facilities schedule requests
Support the needs of groups utilizing the facilitiesDirect building engineer on set-up needsProblem-solve complex scheduling needs
Process Community Education registrationsDeposit funds received for enrichment and facilities programsProcess monthly facilities invoicesHandle all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveriesAddress building problems and complaints by seeking aid of custodial or other appropriate staffMaintain bookkeeping records and prepare reportsPrepare and enter purchase orders as requestedEnforce building and facility use regulationsMaintain knowledge of facility rules, regulations, and policiesAccept additional responsibilities as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Starting salary for this position is $18.39/hour and can vary based on experience.
