In this role, you will assist Branch Managers, Community Bankers, Private Bankers, and C&I lenders with the SBA requests. This includes talking to the customer, receiving, and reviewing SBA application documents, submission to underwriting, and assisting with underwriting and closing questions for the requests they are helping with.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

Responsible for assisting in the structuring of SBA loans by proactively developing and maintaining relationships with bankers and clients.Participate in joint business development calls with bankers to assist in identifying and facilitating sales opportunities.Structure loan proposals and prepare credit packages for underwriting.Ensure loan quality by assessing client eligibility, reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation to determine appropriate solutions that meets the client's loan needs.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, SBA agency guidelines, and bank credit administration policies and practices.May participate in community organizations and activitiesQualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business or other related field and 2+ years of banking, relationship management, underwriting and credit experience or other directly related experience.An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.Knowledge of various types of loans, credit analysis, spreading and analyzing financial statements, risk analysis, credit scoring, loan documentation, etc.Knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures and regulations. Solid credit skills in underwriting, financial modeling, valuations and adherence to policy.Requires solid customer service, relationship, organizational, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.Must have solid communications skills, both verbal and written.Ability to meet deadlines.Knowledge of various software applications including word processing and spreadsheets.Benefits:
