Cardiothoracic Surgeon Locums Job in Sunny California Starts ASAP for 6 months+Are you a cardiothoracic surgeon looking for locum tenens work in sunny California? This opportunity starts as soon as possible and runs for at least six months. The ideal candidate will have board certification, an active California license, US training, and at least five years of experience. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Call is required four to seven consecutive days per month, and includes new consults, cath lab, ER, and rounding during the coverage period. The fully equipped surgical suites are available for open heart, thoracic, and complex valve surgeries. Cases include cardiac and thoracic surgery cases, as needed.Description/Requirements for Assignment :Board Certification, active California license, US trained and at least five years of experience requiredClinic is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Additionally, 4 to 7 consecutive 24 hour call days per month.Call includes new consults, cath lab, ER and rounding during coverage periodFully equipped surgical suites for open heart, thoracic and complex valve surgeriesCases: Cardiac and Thoracic surgery cases, as needed (CABG, AVR, MVR, Thoracotomy, Chest tube, etc.)Averaging 7+ hours of callback per shiftSetting:
