Location: South Hospital 5200 E I240 Service Rd OKC OK 73135 Shift: Full time, Days Monday -Friday Responsibilities Oklahoma Heart Hospital is looking for an experienced Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider to join the practice of Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Truong. As a Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. This role requires advanced clinical knowledge, excellent decision-making skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Conduct thorough cardiac assessments, including medical history review, physical exams, and diagnostic tests interpretation. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers. Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations. Prescribe medications, adjust dosages, and monitor patients' responses to treatment. Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and outcomes. Provide follow-up care to monitor patients' progress, address concerns, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, assessments, treatments, and progress notes. Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac care through continuing education, conferences, and professional development activities. Adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and documentation guidelines. Current license as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure. Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required. ACLS certification within 60 days of hire. Experience: Cardiology experience preferred.
