We are a fun and innovative pediatric dental and orthodontic office searching for a new dentist to add to our team! Our new patient base is rapidly expanding.
Dentistry for Children is dedicated to providing the best care to all children in a comfortable environment. We provide pediatric dentistry for ages 0 - 18, orthodontics for all ages, and special needs dentistry with special attention to the autism community. We believe in preventive dentistry and providing the best options for our patients during every phase of their growth and development.

Job Type: PART-TIME (Thursdays, Fridays)
Salary: $1100/day and 35% of adjusted collections
Medical specialties:
Pediatrics
Schedule:
4-8-hour shift
Thursdays; 1st, and 3rd Friday (availability for more days for the right candidate)
On call
Responsibilities:
Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services
Consult with other dental specialists when necessary
Supervise staff
Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and the use of orthodontics and dental appliances
Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
A DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required
Board Certified and/or Board Eligible through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Current NJ license
Previous experience in clinical or private practice
CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
Excellent bedside manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills
