Summary
Killingly Dental Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Pediatric Dentist to join the team at our growing, busy practice! The ideal candidate should have an excellent bedside manner and be committed to providing care that makes patients feel like family. Our office has been completely renovated, updated, and equipped with all the latest technology (nitrous, CEREC, 3D Pan/CEPH) for you to provide the highest quality dentistry to our large and very active pediatric patient base. Responsibilities:
Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services
Consult with our dental specialists as required
Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances
Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school is required
Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dentistry
Current state license (we will pay for your initial CT license)
Previous experience in clinical or private practice
CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
Nitrous Certified for pediatric patients, or willing to get certified.
Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
Excellent bedside manner
Strong verbal and written communication skills
