We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team in Grand Bay, AL. As a PT, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function and quality of life. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients physical conditions, including range of motion, strength, balance, and coordination. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Treatment Planning:
Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient s needs and goals. Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
Therapeutic Interventions:
Provide a range of physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, modality application, and functional training to enhance patients mobility and strength.
Patient Education:
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for improving physical health. Provide guidance on home exercises and lifestyle modifications.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including evaluation results, treatment progress, and discharge summaries. Ensure all documentation complies with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and research. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:Education:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
Licensure:
Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Alabama.
Experience:
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a patient-centered approach to care. Ability to develop and execute effective treatment plans and adapt to diverse patient needs.
