Job Purpose
Responsible for scheduling and monitoring production from receipt of order to shipment of goods by performing the following duties. Ensure a safe workplace efficient production process, minimization of downtime, as well as a clean and orderly production area.
Principal Accountabilities
• Work within the ERP system.
• Create job travelers for Production personnel.
• Ensure all supplies including material, hardware, tooling, and gages, is properly procured for manufacturing job.
• Ensure engineering receives drawings for programming purposes.
• Maintain and control external customer manufacturing drawings.
• Display ownership of jobs from receipt of order to shipment of goods.
• Coordinate and expedite manufacturing orders throughout the facility.
• Communicate status of orders to the sales department.
• Assist with scheduling and planning.
• Work closely with Purchasing to ensure timely order entry and delivery from suppliers.
• Communicate with all manufacturing departments to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
• Close out orders upon completion.
• Review all jobs for quoting accuracy and profitability at the time of job closing.
• Maintain WIP area.
• Work with Production Manager and Planner to determine proper work centers for manufacturing and scheduling.
• Support cross functional teams to resolve issues meet delivery dates.
• Communicate with Site Manager, Production Manager, and Sales to determine priorities.
• Complete special projects and tasks as assigned by manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Complete any other duties as directed by manager.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at
once.
• Experience reading engineering blueprints.
• Associate degree or higher preferred or equivalent experience.
• Related business experience in the semiconductor, military, aerospace, medical, and
industrial markets.
• Experience in CNC machining of plastic and metal parts a plus.
• 2 years’ experience working in ERP system.
• 2 years’ experience using windows applications.
• Minimum 2 years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must want to be part of team and willing to work with coworkers to resolve issues.
Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)
The salary range for this position is $61,390 - $68,185. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
