Job SummaryThe Learning and Development Coordinator serves as a liaison supporting all learning and development opportunities and offerings. In this role, the L&D Coordinator is responsible for developing/assisting with the development of materials, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating L&D offerings. Additionally, this role monitors and maintains overall quality standards for eLearning's and instructor-led offerings and generates analysis/reports on training outcomes. Based on evaluation data available recommends revisions, changes, and modifications to existing programs and suggests new training topics and strategies. This individual also works closely with county employees and external vendors to plan, implement, and monitor additional programs or offerings.

Job ResponsibilitiesMaintains Learning & Development (L&D) Website and Training Calendar - Responsible for maintaining/updating HR Training website, course calendar and the Learning Management System (LMS). Creates and monitors events, records attendance, and provides metrics and analytical data for learning objects/events. Based on data analysis, provides recommendations for improving and enhancing training delivery. Designs, edits, and delivers ILVT and facilitation materials.Spreadsheets and Reports - Creates, prepares and maintains a variety of monthly, quarterly and annual reports from manual and electronic sources for the purposes of providing up-to-date information on Milwaukee County learning activities. Conducts self-assessments and audits for reporting data accuracy and integrity. Identifies issues and informs management with recommended solutions.Evaluates Training Materials - Designs, edits, and delivers ILVT and facilitation materials. Evaluates training materials (e.g. training data, employee sign-in sheets, training evaluations) for the purpose of documenting and tracking training activities. Assists in the design and delivery of instructor-led programs to enhance effectiveness and transfer of learning.LMS Master Administrator - Works with department LMS Administrators and Milwaukee County employees in troubleshooting and resolving system issues. This position has administrative permission and security levels for the LMS, uploads content, monitors department specific email inbox, and provides oversight with the LMS to identify and resolve potential issues.Conducts Training - Conducts a variety of employee training (e.g. new employee orientation, compliance related training to foster awareness and educates employees to meet Milwaukee County standards). Serves as the lead for the Leadership Excellence program logistics, announcements, nominations, planning, implementation, delivery process, and orientation.Marketing Learning - Identifies various methodologies to market and communicates learning to all employee levels at Milwaukee County. Maintains L&D presence and markets programs across the County internet/website. Designs communication documents for L&D, recommends strategies, and serves as the lead design input source for L&D marketing efforts and programs.Customer/Vendor Relations - Works with internal and external vendors to coordinate, manage and schedule training activities to ensure quality and exceptional customer service. Serves as a liaison to management to identify roadblocks and issues. Provides strategies and recommendations to enhance L&D deliverables and services provided.Ability to properly use computers, scanners, fax machines, copiers and general office equipment.Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 10 lbs.Other duties as assigned.

Require Education, License/Certification and ExperienceCurrent residency within the State of Wisconsin required.Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.High School Diploma/GED and three (3) to five (5) years

in relevant areas such as Learning and development/Training coordinator, Learning and development/Training specialist, Learning and development/Training operations, Learning and development/Training customer service, or learning and development/Training support, Learning Management Systems coordinator/admin/implementation.Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.Previous experience using Dayforce LMS, Storyline and Articulate 360 preferred.Previous experience facilitating and delivering training programs preferred.
