Ingenuity!Essential Duties/Functions and ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes and interprets a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.Assists in handling contract administration with clients and sub-consultants.Assists in the review and preparation of engineering agreements for projects.Assists Project, Design, and/or Office Managers as requested.Attends client and public meetings as necessary.Coordinates staff activities to ensure project budget, schedule, and quality goals are achieved.Ensures that project documents and files are organized.May assist in client invoicing and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on projects.May serve as an onsite project representative and/or provide construction observation duties in the field.May sign and seal assigned projects and project documents self-prepared or under direct supervision.Monitors work‐in‐process and assists in directing and/or supervising the work of other engineers’ activities on projects.Prepares and presents technical information to colleagues and clients.Prepares complex design computations, plans, and related construction documents.Prepares complex quantity and cost estimates.Prepares complex reports, studies, and permits for various projects.Prepares engineering and design documents using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents.To Be SuccessfulYou will bring your A-game every day and come ready to provide leadership and collaboration and create a dynamic environment for your team! To join IEI's team and take on this role, you will have the following qualifications:Minimum 4 years

Often works around dust, asphalt, and concrete.Sometimes needs to put in extra hours, including weekends, to keep up with intense construction work at times and deal with unexpected situations and accidents.Spends some time working indoors to review blueprints and write reports.Usually works a standard 40-hour workweek either daytime or nighttime.Usually works in outside weather conditions.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
