Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Lead Software Engineer/Developer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients in the Digital Payments technology organization. This role involves developing and leading technical delivery in agile development, focusing on new capabilities like modularization and configuration-driven enhancement.Responsibilities:Act as a tech lead on project teams, refining User Stories and acceptance criteria, writing technical design documents, and proposing solutions aligned with cloud-based software trends and standards.Utilize expert-level Change Management and Incident Management knowledge using ServiceNow for production changes.Demonstrate expert knowledge of internal application integration using APIs and other communication techniques.Assist with software delivery, including server architecture creation, table layouts, and configuration of highly performant data resources.The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:3+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, middleware/backend, and RESTful services development.Experience with microservices development, continuous integration, build, and delivery using Spring and Spring Boot is a plus.Background in payments/payment processing (Wires, ACH, Zelle, TCH RTP, or Bill Payments) is desirable.Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk) and log analysis for performance evaluation and issue identification.Hands-on experience with version control (GIT), build automation (Maven, Jenkins), and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with SQL querying and agile software development methodologies.
