Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Sr Software Developer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This role presents an exciting opportunity to develop and modify complex technical computer software, ensuring its functionality aligns with project deadlines.Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate with external vendor representatives and technical teams interfacing with internal applications.Participate in an on-call rotation to support applications 24/7.Provide technical support to programming and operations areas.Work with systems programmers to develop, install, modify, and maintain operating systems and software products.Lead testing, debugging, and modification of software applications, ensuring efficient integration and use.Support complex computer software such as utility programs, job control language, macros, and subroutines.Offer technical advice on operating systems and subsystems, including performance monitoring and measurement.Assist in training less experienced Systems Programmers.Perform additional duties as assigned.Benefits and Perks

Qualifications:Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.5+ years of experience in a Windows and UNIX environment.Understanding of job schedulers and version control practices.Knowledge/experience with JVMs, Oracle, and SQL databases.Proficiency in at least one shell scripting language.Understanding of system change control processes.Bachelor's Degree.5+ years of related experience in IT environments, providing production support for vendor applications.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to balance development and support roles effectively.Experience working on projects involving various business segments.Strong interpersonal skills and focus on customer service.Excellent communication, design, documentation, and analytical skills.Experience with Zena and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zenoss, and Splunk.
