Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Sr. Backend Java Developer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This exciting opportunity involves working within our development team to build and support a consumer loan originations system. The role entails a dual responsibility as an architect and senior/lead Java developer, responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting applications for the Consumer Lending team.Responsibilities:Ensure timely planning and completion of assigned deliverables, including detailed design, development, unit testing, defect fixes, and implementation planning/execution.Track and report development progress using systems like TFS, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow, and contribute to design and code reviews, as well as unit testing strategy.Provide guidance and partnership to testers, analysts, and stakeholders, while diagnosing root causes of complex technical problems and facilitating monitoring and support methodology for the production environment.Maintain comprehensive system documentation, provide technical leadership and mentoring, and oversee technical implementation responsibilities for significant project changes.Benefits and Perks

8+ years of hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE.Strong understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Bachelor's Degree.Experience with Spring Boot, REST, JSON, Micro Services.Proficiency in GIT, Maven, Jenkins, SQL.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technology.
