The Configuration Analyst maintains and manages product configuration throughout the design, development, and manufacturing lifecycle. The Configuration Analyst is involved in creating detailed change notices for customer approval and ensuring all design alterations comply with industry standards and customer requirements.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage configuration control processes and procedures.Create and distribute change notices to customers for approval during various stages of the product design process.Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure configuration accuracy.Maintain configuration documentation and manage configuration databases.Review and analyze changes to assess the impact on product performance and compliance.Ensure that all configuration management activities adhere to regulatory and customer requirements.Facilitate configuration control board meetings to discuss and approve changes.Provide training and support to team members on configuration management tools and processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in configuration management, preferably in an aerospace or engineering environment.Proven experience in managing configuration changes and developing control processes.Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.Proficiency in configuration management software and tools.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and cross-functional teams.Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to product configuration.Experience in document control and record-keeping.Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII/IPE) is preferred.Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus.Hiring RequirementsIf an offer of employment is extended, the applicant must have the ability to pass a background check and the ability to be insured by the Company’s Auto-policy.
