Endocrinologist
within the highly respected Department of Endocrinology.Texas Children’s provides trusted care to children and adolescents. This position is a rare opportunity to participate in the start, growth, and expansion of a BRAND-NEW medical facility and campus aimed to serve the growing population of Austin, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up with the support and resources of a nationally ranked Children’s Hospital.Position Highlights:Support quality and safety while leading and maintaining clinical excellence and innovation.Assist in the opening and growth of the facility.Treatment of Endocrinology patients within our facility.Ability to be a part of the founding physicians of a new medical facility with the support and resources of the #2 Children’s Hospital in the nation.Opportunity to ramp up and grow quickly personally and as a group; this is a once-in-a-career opportunity.Qualifications:Experience working in a pediatric medical center or specialty care unit that serves complex pediatric cases.Be well versed in the setting(s) of a pediatric specialty hospital and multidisciplinary care across the divisions of NICU, PICU, and Critical care. Also, the latest research and innovations as it relates to treatments of this patient panel.Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply as this facility is expected to ramp up quickly.An academic record consistent with appointment as an assistant level or associate professor is desired given TCH’s affiliation with Baylor. However, this is
NOT
required for this position.The ideal candidate will have a history of participation in research and be a featured author in publications reflective of their specialty and focus.The ideal candidate will have a pioneer-like spirit that is flexible and comfortable with the challenges of starting and ramping up a new facility.Applicants must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree, and be Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active Texas medical license.Contact Information:Reach out to Jason McGill at
