This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. This is a short term assignment with a projected end date of 06-30-2025 with renewal based on available funds and the needs of MCCCD.Job Summary:

The Student Services Manager supports the college's strategic enrollment initiatives through the coordination, implementation, management, oversight, and evaluation of dual enrollment/early college programs. This position facilitates the creation of new dual enrollment partnerships and/or course offerings, coordinates the student services delivery, oversees and manages operational compliance of the program. As a representative of the institution, the Student Services Manager works closely with internal and external constituents and utilizes a broad base of knowledge of student services functions to support a diverse population of students in understanding and navigating the enrollment processes at Rio Salado College.Rio Salado Dual Enrollment serves a number of partnering high schools and districts from around the Phoenix Metro Area. This Student Services Manager will have primary oversight of the partnership with Tempe area partners, with frequent travel to assigned partners expected. This Manager also oversees the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Team in the coordination of CTE offerings as a supporting college at multiple locations.Essential Functions:Facilitates the management of staffing and scheduling of courses including the addition of new courses at partnering high schools serves as liaison to establish and maintain productive working relationships with Dual Enrollment partners.Manages the outreach and information/direction on recruiting, partnership expansion, increasing certificate/degree enrollments & registration prepares reports, participates in department planning and team meetings.Analyzes and evaluates assigned high school program partnerships. Manages and facilitates the registration process with partners conducts preliminary review of high school curriculum to determine appropriate dual enrollment courses requiring basic computer skills monitors and applies rules and regulations as established by the District and the State for program compliance.Collects and conducts preliminary review of the credentials of high school teachers to determine qualifications conducts testing and registration for dual enrollment classes at area high schools.Provides supervision of Coaching and CTE positions and roles, maintains confidential personnel records and other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration or related field and five years of progressively responsible student services or related experience that includes such things as administration of policies and procedures, program oversight and two years of supervisory experience.ORAn equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.Desired Qualifications:Experience in partnership program coordination, liaising with partnersExperience with college registration policies, procedures, and systemsExperience with standard office practices, and computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and databasesWorking knowledge of community college and secondary educational landscapeEffective written and oral communication skills, including presenting to large groupsExperience in marketing, outreach, and/or recruitmentTwo (2) or more years supervisory experienceSpecial Working Conditions:Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D driver's license is required; must meet minimum standards regarding driving:
