Whether you choose to live in Green Valley, Sahuarita or Tucson, you will enjoy spectacular sunsets and mild winters as well as numerous local attractions.Under general supervision, the Operational Excellence (OE) Facilitator encourages, empowers, and facilitates business optimization teams to support corporate and site initiatives. The OE Facilitator will work as an unbiased guide/trainer with team members, focusing on product owners, scrum masters, team members, and employees striving to unlock potential and curiosity in everyone. The OE Facilitator will embrace change while acting as a steward of transformational methodologies, encouraging and standardizing core Agile, Lean, Operational Excellence elements, and other optimization principles in the organization.Facilitate multiple high-performing teams and business optimization initiatives; strengthen team understanding of Agile ways of working, e.g., Agile values, Scrum concepts, Lean methodologies, Operational Excellence elements, and other optimization techniques.Coach and train teams on being more value-focused and data-driven while encouraging aspirational goals leveraging agile ways of working and operational excellence elements.Help evolve ways of working based on the nature of work; implement Operational Excellence elements to ensure a sustainable product.Check team commitments, pace, and quality; help the team understand how to inspect & adapt where needed.Participate in development and application of new problem-solving techniques including bottleneck analysis, root cause analysis, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Perform other duties as requested.Qualifications
High School diploma or GED AND seven (7) years of experience in Operations, Operations Support, Engineering, Project Management, or Professional Business settings, ORBachelor’s Degree AND three (3) years of experience in Operations, Operations Support, Engineering, Project Management, or Professional Business settings, ORMaster’s Degree AND one (1) year of experience in Operations, Operations Support, Engineering, Project Management, or Professional Business settings.Passionate problem solver who advocates for the best possible solution.Burgeoning coach focused on growing and maximizing team potential.Strong communicator with the ability to convey complex messages.Unbiased facilitator; able to engage people at all levels.Self-aware of cognitive biases and their impact on decision-making.Challenger mindset and passion for finding new solutions and driving innovative ideas.Believes in a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust.Passionate about understanding people and teams; interested in transformation methodologies.Ability to receive and act on developmental feedback quickly.Preferred Qualifications:Background in specific fields (mine, mill, hydro, etc.)Engineering backgroundData Analysis SkillsExperience with OEE (data access, cleaning, interpretation, analysis)Ability to analyze data and draw conclusionsStrong Excel skillsExperience working on an Agile teamExperience with Lean MethodologiesCriteria/Conditions:Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing, or plant environment.Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment through mandatory pre-employment drug testing.What We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently
$82,000-$113,000 . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions.
