is seeking to hire an

IT Support Specialist

in the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). This critical role will help empower the Department of Defense’s navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. You will serve as a member of a team providing combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR order of battle and PNT-related successes and threats. You will support the Government with the integration, at the theater strategic level, of C4, cyber, and cyberspace operations into JNWC's strategic and operational objectives.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for end user devices hardware (laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices) and peripherals, software (COTS, GOTS, Web), network infrastructure (routers, switches, etc.), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), audiovisual display systems, duress alarms, analog and wireless technologies.Schedule and coordinate customer desk-side support for the installation of new software or to performance hardware or software break/fix activities.Set up and configure new end-user equipment including laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, VTC units, VoIP phones and other peripherals.Investigate and resolve all connectivity issues related to end-user, site infrastructure and IT equipment.Participate in construction project planning, providing detailed requirements for facility IT specifications.Responsible for the on-site coordination of break/fix installations with hardware maintenance providers, providing after hours support when required.Execute and maintain IT infrastructure inventory information, completing regularly scheduled inventories of all IT cabinets and IT cabinet equipment, updating pictures, drawings and asset information.Recommend customer service and IT process support enhancements by researching and recommending new technologies and processes.QualificationsCurrent DoD issued Security Clearance.BA/BS technical degree in computer science, information technology or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.Information Assurance Level Technician experience in a large government consulting environment preferred.IAT Level II Certifications: CompTIA CySA+/CompTIA Security+/EC-Council CND also preferred.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong attention to detail.T2S Solutions is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
